Having moved from Michigan to the Wisconsin 'Northwoods’ 18 years ago, I’ve adapted quite readily living the quiet life with my husband.

You see, I am an ‘out-of-control’ beading addict.  I have this never-ending need to work with my hands.  They’re always busy, creating purses with colored threads and pretty glass beads.  It's fulfilling to see the end product sitting on my worktable, perhaps waiting for its new owner to enjoy it as much as I enjoyed making it.  It’s very satisfying, and I just can’t seem to get enough.

When I’m not knitting or weaving with beads, I use my hands outside working in my perennial gardens.  It must be the colors of beads and flowers that keep me happy.  If it grows, I want it.  When the snow falls, I then enjoy the outdoors cross-country skiing.

But I always find time to do what I enjoy most . . . . making that ‘perfect purse.
